In '76 you could still see Elvis driving around Memphis or in a bar.....he was a common person's hero.

i saw him @ tulsa fairgrounds in early 56.

I was there too, although not that close.

I wasn't that close either...I walked to the stage and Elvis pulled the mic aside and let this little girl (me) snap a pic. It's an awesome memory!

The last few times he came to Tulsa my folks would go and leave me with my grandparents, so I never got to see him perform.
