    eh, my buddy has been playing every year for the past 3-4 years. This year he went out in 375th place...won himself a little over 30 grand.

    I have watched it. It isn't fun for sure. Even if you like poker, i don't see how you watch that for more than a few minutes.

    The coverage from 2003-2005 was much better, I can't hardly watch it now.

    Truthfully, I only watched to see if my buddy Jimmy was going to be at a feature table. Once he got eliminated in 375th place, I didn't gas anymore.

    I still think the WSOP is good TV. While the opening rounds are pretty meh, when it gets down to the last few days, as well as the final table it gets interesting. I like to see if a short stack can rally from being on life support. I like seeing my favorite players in the hunt, and take down the players I hate. There is always a good amount of action each year, and I think ESPN does a good job of capturing a lot of the key hands.
