Casey Anthony Reportedly Plans to Use False Name, Disguises Upon Release From Jail


Casey Anthony will likely wear disguises and live under an assumed name at a secret location after she is released from prison this weekend, the Chicago Sun-Times reports, quoting a source close to her legal team.

Anthony was found not guilty last week of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, but was convicted of lying to authorities about the child's 2008 disappearance.

She was sentenced to one year for each of four counts of lying to investigators, but will be released on Sunday because of time already served in jail.

The verdict touched off a wave of national outrage and the paper reported the unidentified source said she believes, "Casey really does not completely understand the depth of hatred out there."

"She's fully aware of the various death threats, of course, but she thinks that's isolated to relatively few nutcases," the source told the newspaper.

Once Anthony arrives at the secret location where she will live, she's expected to use a pseudonym "almost as if she was living in a witness protection-like program," the source reportedly said.

She is also considering various disguises, although she's rejected the option of plastic surgery, according to the source.

Today I have had someone come up with an idea that I wanted CA to be released? Not true. I even posted a poll. I thought the trial was heading towards a Mistrial as the Defense was all over the place and the Prosecution was bringing Witnesses to the stand that either seemed to be committing perjury or nearly admitting they killed Caylee.

I can't see this Woman living as a person who can make money off of this without being Casey Anthony and this story seems to allude that she wants to become anonymous.

I've followed MSNBC, CNN, Headline News and Fox as well as NBC, CBS and ABC the last Month. Prior to that....I can't remember as it has been flashed across the news screens for a very long time. This case has come to an end that most folks didn't think would happen. It's been named "OJ2" and her release date has been moved once already and there is pending litigation. There was speculation that she couldn't change her name as she is a felon but Fox's Article doesn't address that at all. All I can think is she is thinking she can get away with a pseudonym or alias which really does seem to go right along with her prior MO as a liar.

Her Mom has been reported on today and will not be tried for perjury.

This story is not over by a long shot.

Well...your free to make that accusation all you want but I wouldn't keep posting about this gal because I want her to make a bunch of money from the Death of her Daughter if I wanted her to get away with the Murder of her Daughter.

I think you need to understand that by saying that....you sound like a Vigilante that is part of a movement to stone this Woman in the Streets because her Defense Team got her off a Death Row Verdict and any subsequent attempts to try her for the Murder of her Daughter.

She has gotten away with it and no amount of whining and hating other people who you think aren't properly outraged is going to get her A death Penalty, LWOP or Improper Burial Charge it seems.

Message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. They differ from chat rooms in that messages are at least temporarily archived. A POST

A THREAD

A thread is contained in a forum, and may have an associated date which is taken as the date of the last post (options to order threads by other criteria are generally available). When a member posts in a thread for no reason but to have it go to the top, it is referred to as a bump or bumping. Threads which are important but rarely receive posts are stickyed (or, in some software, "pinned"). A sticky thread will always appear in front of normal threads, often in its own section. A "threaded discussion group" is simply any group of individuals who use a forum for threaded, or asynchronous, discussion purposes. The group may or may not be the only users of the forum.

A thread's popularity is measured on forums in reply (total posts minus one – the opening post) counts. Some forums also track page views. Threads meeting a set number of posts or a set number of views may receive a designation such as "hot thread" and be displayed with a different icon compared to others threads. This icon may stand out more to emphasize the thread.
