I'm surprised USC is as far down as 11, but I understand the reasoning. It may end up that low or lower once these sanctions play out and the impact of the expanded conference are known. But until other schools have more recruiting success in the USC playground, USC will be a top dog.
A job is what you make of it. If you p!$$ on tradition, shun alumni, former players and coaches, along with your fanbase... if you lose repeatedly, if you make craptier salary with no golden parachute buyout clause... if you violate NCAA rules and as a result, have fewer scholarships to award, fewer postseasons to look forward to and fewer times on television... if you don't have the respect and control of your players and therefore have more contact with police than with your playbook... then you have a crappy job, regardless of where it is.

I had Arkie, Wiscy and Aggie on my top-20 list. I guess Arkie didn't get included because of its brutal division conference schedule, but razorback fans which probably include the whole state are pretty...ummm...supportive, bordering on intense.
I am not sure why Wiscy wasn't, as it has a whole state to recruit from and a large fan base. Maybe it is just the northern clime and schedule. I do think that they would have won more conference championships if there were a conference championship game before.
Oh, the A&M crowd will just love that Aggie Lite is a better coaching destination than Aggie. Of course that is only because of T. Boone Pickens.

Numbers 11-13 make me laugh because of not making the top 10. Not because I think they should have, but because they will be pizzed seeing themselves out of the top 10.

Has anyone told Okie Lite their football job is better than Miami's or even Wisconsin's? Be sure and wear a rain coat when you tell em cause they will surely jizz all over you.

One thing I can respect about you guys, our dearly beloved sister school, is that you didn't write your school song about beating us.
That is why Texas A&M is not a top tier job... that and the athletic department debt. A 3-loss season might qualify you for a three-way-tie for the defunct Big 12 South division, but nothing else.
i'd rate texags job above some of those in the list.

most of the ones i know are OK folks.
they are bad at picking football coaches. sherman might turn out to be OK.
