Umm I guess Obama has more experience. Also I cringe to think of how horrible Palin would be with foreign leaders. I have a feeling she would make Dubya and Obama look like Winston Churchill....

Because if given the choice of someone who is cerebral to a fault and someone who ideological to a fault, I would chose the cerebral. Plus, she's white trash and would bring that baggage to a global stage.

Prior to either's VERY short political careers prior to lining up on the national stage? Well, Obama at least did the reading and was familiar with the issues. Palin? She wasn't (and more frighteningly, still isn't after four years of national attention) even able to find major nations on a world map. She's either terminally uninterested or irremediably stupid. Take your pick, she's outta there.

Because Obama would focus like a laser beam on what was the most important issue the day he took office... The economy. With his brilliance, I'm sure he could correct it in a matter of months and no way would he lead us into a double dip recession...
Palin would focus on passing policies and programs that no one wants, extend the Bush tax cuts for the rich, start new undeclared wars... ect.
It is not even close.
You wouldn't have to worry about being bored with her after four years, or being sick and tired of that screechy voice. She would quit after two.

Which president has been in this position after a single term in your view? Reagan (hated globally, regarded as either deranged or senile), Bush II (hated more, regarded as just plain mentally slow and morally corrupt), Clinton (regarded as simpatico but a dilletante) and so forth.
Not a lot of presidents experience universal love and respect. Obama at least knows how things work at this point.
