I agree that it is not a good idea to launch dogs with a Trebuchet. They are man's best friend after all and that is not the a good way to treat your best friend if you ask me.
No, that is just plain out ole mean. I prefer instead to stick them on a zip sled and let them ride behind a ski boat. Or, teach them how to ride a surf board. That's at least useful for a good video and not get the police involved.
