Cool Re: thick cut, pan fried bacon bits with some green beans

I was carving some old fashion green beans with this deeeelicious roast and red potatoes this evening.
Wiffie says, she won't do them unless she can cook them with a ham bone, the way her Momma did it!

Do the green Beans make the bacon less tough and do you throw them out and just eat the bacon?

We had these grilled marinaded chicken chunks doubled wrapped with bacon and a toothpick on the grill Saturday night with a little Sangria to clear our pallets for more ChickenChunksAnBacon....

    Teh yum....

    Winner.

I saw bacon flavored ice cream at Kroger last night. Didn't get it; I went for the strawberry peppercorn ice cream instead.
And I need to find my chocolate chip cookie recipe that calls for bacon fat and chipotle to post here. Mmmmmmm.

Yup, a good sharp cheddar helps as well. Either sugar in the mayo or use miracle whip. Isn't that stuff sweeter than normal mayo?
