ok...I was at Manhattan working in the public school system when Kruger was there...his kids went to the school I was at. Met his wife, very nice lady, she got Lon and all the players to sign a thing I made for a buddy that was a huge ksu fan.
BUT...there was a reason he left ksu....think about it...he grew up in KS, played at ksu under Hartman...at the time ksu was known for basketball...but he left.
Maybe things have changed..lots of folks have indiscretions...
I'm sure he solid, has a decent rep, older...things that Capel didn't have...maybe trying a different direction.
