NORMAN — An arrest warrant has been issued for a Norman man accused of using a computer system to threaten someone with physical harm or death, according to court papers.
Cleveland County prosecutors charged Cameron Darryl Martin, 21, with a felony count of use of a computer to cause fear of physical harm. Court records show a warrant was issued Nov. 12 for his arrest.
Charges allege Martin used “a computer, computer system or computer network to put another person in fear of physical harm or death” Oct. 20. The University of Oklahoma Police Department investigated the allegations.
According to a court affidavit, Martin posted a video on Facebook making the victim feel threatened. Martin says on the video that he is “playing,” but the victim believes Martin has directed the threats toward her, the affidavit says.
Martin tagged the victim in the video by sending it to her Facebook account, according to the affidavit
