He looks great...on his way to ROY!
It takes one to know one, and I know you don't know a damn thing.
He was way above the rim on those slams....good job Blake
Boy, Oden is stupid!
"No, his was a fracture, Mine is broken in half."
What? Really?
Oden, yours is a fracture as much as Griffin's was.
Yours may be a complete fracture where the bone is separated completely. Blake's was an imcomplete fracture where the bone is still partially joined.
I think it is stupid.
Of course I am just hearing bits and pieces of the game right now, but the new rule is that no one is allowed to object a foul call?
That is bull****. I say allow them to contest or object without throwing a tantrum like some do every foul call.
Griffin has 13 and 7 at halftime...the Clippers should be much more competitive this year and they are giving Portland a good game, but turnovers and defense will probably plague them...they are young and already have 9 turnovers and they give up way too many good looks on the perimeter...Blake, Kaman and Gordon is a nice trio to build around...maybe the Clippers can do what the Thunder did...

I don't know about you guys but I'm very excited that I drafted Blake Griffin to my fantasy team. He is gonna be a beast.
I think tonight was the first time I've ever actually sat down and watched an entire clippers game. As long as Griffin is on the floor the game is definitely worth watching.
The biggest thing Blake will have to overcome is his terrible coach and Baron Davis. Neither of them seemed to be concerned with giving Blake the ball on the post. He didn't get a touch down low in the second half until there were 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
Vinny already looks lost and Baron, despite all the right things he said in the preseason, still threw up poor ugly shots and passed the ball to the wrong people. He finished with 3 assists and 4 turnovers.
It takes one to know one, and I know you don't know a damn thing.
The first thing I noticed was his hair
After that, he was nothing short of amazing.
The technical rule will never apply to Blake, because he could be getting judo-thrown or punched in the nuts and he would never, ever retaliate or complain to the refs.
20 points, 14 rebounds, four assists... too bad the Clips couldn't pull off the win, but they'll get better.
Great to see him elevate on that alley-oop dunk....so awesome. I really hope he considers the Dunk Contest at the All-Star game this year...I'm sure he'll be invited
All in all, it was a very good, albeit year late debut. I believe 9 of those rebounds he had were offensive rebounds, so that post we had earlier about if he'd lead the league or not, might have more merit. I was certainly skeptical that he would lead in that category, but after seeing that, I'm much less skeptical now.
Portland is a tough team though and unfortunately Blake couldn't start his career off with a W.
