The NBA East is gonna be fun this year with the Heat, Celts, and Magic. Ive never been a HUGE NBA fan in that I typically watch games here and there but mainly just watch the playoffs.
With the Thunder in OKC, the recent player movement, and Blake being in the league, im actually pretty excited about this season.
If Shaq can stay fresh, the Celts will be even tougher this year

Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Garnett, Shaq....that's a pretty tough matchup for anyone come playoff time. Very old, yes, but way more experience than any other team can throw out there.
The took the opener against the hated Heat, but the Heat Trio is only going to get better as the season goes along.
You certainly can't count the Magic out either with Howard in the middle.
Will be interesting to see if the Knicks can make any noise with Amare terrorizing the Eastern Conference now too.
The West should be extremely competitive yet again. The Lakers are on top until further notice, but between Mavs, Thunder, Blazers, Nuggets and Spurs. Then you have the Hornets with a healthy Chris Paul, Rockets if Yao can come back from injury, how will Utah be now without Boozer, Clippers with a heathly Blake, and a continually improving Grizzlies team too.

finished the game with 29, 13, and 9... incredible game. i figured blake would have a cakewalk to rookie of the year as it would take longer for wall's game to translate to the NBA, but looks like we have a nice ROY battle on our hands this year. still think blake wins it though...
wall is going to be a star in this league as long as he stays healthy...but as far a the rookie season goes, i think it's going to have its share of highs and its share of lows. a lot like what we saw out of brandon jennings last year. i think blake will be the more steady of the two...one thing they do have in common is that they're both on awful, awful teams.
