Speaking of the Clips, Willie Warren has not played at all during the preseason apparently due to a groin strain or something. He was a second-rounder, so his entire contract is not guaranteed, but apparently $100k of it is guaranteed, so that might be a reason to keep him around... that and perhaps BG and WW are BFF for all I know

Yup. Not sure if this has ever happened before for an injury season, but I am pretty sure that "rookie" season and award considerations are a player's first season in actual regular season games. At this point I wouldn't bet on him not being eligible for SSDI or regular SS.

Definitely good analysis. If he can knock down that mid-range jumper consistently and up the FT% a bit, he can be a top 20 player in the league very soon.

Yeah, but if you gave me the reverse of that, and 4-1 odds, I'd take that too. (11 and 18) I think that, once he's playing with the first-stringers on a night-in, night-out basis, he'll look to score less... at least this season. He's going to dunk the sh*t out of the ball this year, though. His cuts and footwork make even bad passers look decent.
