Is this the best pitching weve seen in Decades?

Nearly to the AS break and we have 9 pitchers under a 2.50 era, 2 pitchers under a 2.0 era and 21 with a sub 3.0 era.

Look at this list of under 3 era's, very impressive

    Ubaldo Jiminez 1.83

    Josh Johnson 1.83

    Jaime Garcia 2.27

    Adam Wainwright 2.34

    Tim Hudson 2.37

    Roy Halladay 2.42

    David Price 2.44

    Clay Buchholz 2.45

    Cliff Lee 2.45

    Yovani Gallardo 2.56

    Chris Carpenter 2.70

    Andy Pettitte 2.72

    Jeff Niemann 2.72

    Clayton Richard 2.74

    Jason Vargas 2.80

    Ricky Romero 2.83

    Mat Latos 2.85

    Jon Lester 2.86

    Matt Cain 2.93

    Mike Pelfrey 2.93

    Carlos Silva 2.96

Of those 21 listed, 16 of them are 28 or younger, most are 26 or younger

With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

Cincy pitcher is bidding for perfect game #3 of the year. Hasn't allowed anything through 8. Thing is, Halladay's tossing a shutout on the other end.

He was my fourth pitcher I picked. Really helped make my starters deep.
