Metals Chemist – ICP Specialist


A single source network of testing laboratories offering a wide range of third-party metallurgical, materials, microbiological, hydrocarbon and environmental testing services, is seeking an experienced Metals Chemist – ICP Specialist to work in their materials testing laboratory located at Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Experience in ICP-OES/AES technology is REQUIRED for this position.

The individual hired for this position will provide leadership as the company develops its ICP analysis capabilities. It is important for all candidates to have had experience in a commercial laboratory setting.

A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (or a related field) is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience in preparation of standards and samples using conventional dissolution and microwave techniques. Alloy groups will include, but not be limited to, all commercially available and proprietary nickel, cobalt, titanium, iron, copper and aluminum alloys used in the aerospace, medical, power generation, automotive and petrochemical industries.

Applicants must be proficient with computers, possess the ability to read and interpret documents, specifications, and instructions and be able to communicate effectively with good organizational skills. Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with " Nadcap " accreditation and ISO 17025.
