    Remember baseball prodigy Bryce Harper?

If you dont let me refresh your memory, this guy is 17 now I believe and skipped the rest of HS, got his GED and is now in Juco for a year awaiting his chance to enter the MLB draft. Many have called him the biggest HS phenom since Arod. Well, lets see how he is doing so far...

"Through the first 24 games of his Junior College career Harper has 8 home runs, 22 RBIs, and a .413 batting average."

This guy is not far from making Strasburg money in the draft, unreal talent
Ranger Reese of OVJ country, Patrollin tha hood.

I Survived Drunkytown with OleVet and all I got was this rash!

With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

NJCAA PLAYOFFS: Harper hits four homers, lifts CSN to Junior College World Series

    By MATT YOUMANS
    LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL

LAMAR, Colo. -- With the season on the line, Bryce Harper stepped up to lead the College of Southern Nevada to the Junior College World Series.

Harper went 6-for-6 with four home runs and 10 RBIs as the Coyotes defeated Central Arizona 25-11 today in the championship game of the NJCAA Western District Tournament.

Harper also doubled and tripled. The 17-year-old from Las Vegas High School was named tournament Most Valuable Player.

CSN (49-14) advanced to the Junior College World Series, which begins May 29 at Grand Junction, Colo.

Sophomore right-hander Kenny McDowall pitched six innings to earn the win. Donn Roach and Aaron Kurcz finished the game for the Coyotes.

CSN finished with a season-high 27 hits. Trent Cook homered twice and Scott Dysinger and Daniel Higa each homered once.

The Coyotes were pushed to the limit in the double-elimination tournament after losing 21-14 in the today's first game.

Willie Johnson, Bryan Karraker and A.J. Schugel each hit two home runs as Central Arizona (46-20) rolled to a 21-4 lead.

With temperatures in the mid-90s and winds gusting out at about 45 mph, the teams combined for 11 homers in the first game and nine in the second game.

Harper hit for the cycle in CSN's victory on Friday. He went 2-for-5 with a three-run double in today's first game.

In the second game, he homered in the second, fourth, fifth and seventh innings. He doubled in the first and tripled in the sixth.
