Put a lid on it! Kiss it goodbye. We gave it away, and apparently thought it made sense to do so.
wasnt it dick cheney who said it... defecits dont matter?
you rail on and on and on about how bad the president is for america, and yet the republicans still offer no solutions.
if we are so bad off right now, is it really because obama has been there for a year, or were we headed down this road long before then?
im still waiting for a single republican lawmaker to offer a solution to the massive problems facing our nation, yet all they do is whatever they can to protect the status quo, which is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. i still hold to my (and many experts) belief that this entire mess was caused by the short-sightedness of a few republican lawmakers in the late 90s/early 2000s. had the restrictions limiting the interactivity between investment banking and insurance companies never been removed, this entire financial meltdown would have never occurred in the first place. but it has. this is what we have and still i have yet to hear anything from the right side of the isle other than how bad the left sides ideas are, and not offering up a single solution of thier own.
im sure ill get even more negs for this, but seriously... what are the republicans offering?
if one of em has a better idea, lets hear it.
whatever their corporate sponsors want them to
Here's a simple solution: Stop trying to ram this "health care" legislation down America's throat. I agree we need health care reform, but to vote "aye" on a bill that is 2000+ pages? Even the president doesn't know what's in it--he admitted it in the Baier interview. There's so much bull**** in there that doesn't pertain to anything about healthcare. The president is obsessed with it. He's so arrogant he won't back off and redo the bill to make consessions.
The people don't want this bill, the liberal Democrats do. This oligarchy will pay dearly for not listening to the American people.

heres a pretty good list, and granted most of the guys on there are corporate ceos, but it was the **** phil gramm pulled that let them do what they did.
phil gramm is a piece of **** rat bastard ******* and the champion of republican economic theory that once called the american working class "a bunch of whiners"
and not all republican suck. i really like ron paul and would have voted for him had he won the nomination instead of mccain, who i might have voted for were it not for his extremely poor choice of vice presidential candidate.
and conversely, i think there's plenty of democrats that suck balls as well. nancy pelosi comes to mind. shes just a bitch that refuses to listen to anything the republicans have to say, just because they're republicans.
keep the negs coming... im starting to like em.
I wanted that list of experts you said blame republicans for our fiscal mess. The list you gave above is definitely not that.

your being on this board is proof that you own a computer. a simple google search will bring up many results full of experts chiming in and how it all went down.
if you're too lazy to spend a few hours reading what all those experts opinions are on this mess, thats your own problem.
seriously. why is it that its my resposibility to educate you? are you incapable of doing your own research?
instead of calling me out, why dont you get off your *** and propose an alternate theory of whose to blame for this. im all ears.
prove to me it wasnt phil gramm and his gramm-leach-bliley act that repealed depression era safeguards that were in place to prevent exactly this sort of thing. go ahead. if you can prove to me that it wasnt a handful of republicans sneaking in this ****-poor legislation on the last day of congress's session before the christmas break in 99, when less than half of congress was actually there to vote, ill delete my soonerfans account and you'll never hear from me ever again.
go ahead.
