Oh well. More shots for TMG.
What's new?
Football, M bball, and W bball have all been biten by the injury monster to key, if not the best players in each sport. This is just ridiculous at this point with Bradford, Gresham, Brody, Whitney Hand, and now Willie. The Collegiate sporting Gods need to shine down on us after this debacle of a year.

After the seasons we had last year with...
1- BCS Championship berth
2- Screwing Texas out of BCS and Big 12 Championship berths
3- Having our first Naismith winner
4- Having another Heisman Trophy winner
5- Having the first four-time All-American in college womens basketball history
6- Having a Final Four
7- Having an Elite Eight
8- Having the first overall NBA draft pick
9- Having many top players announce they would return for another year at OU in football
10- Having all of this in the same year!!!!
We had to endure some balancing issues in the football gods eyes
1- Lose good players to graduation.
2- Lose BG to the NBA Draft
3- Watch BG go to the Clippers!
4- Water BG player zero minutes in the NBA regular season due to injury
5- Watch Sammie Heisman go down with OU career-ending injury
6- Watching Whitney Hand tear her ACL
7- Watching Willie Warren's head and ankle get the best of him
8- Losing our national ranking in football due to injuries and loses
9- Losing our national ranking in mens basketball due to injuries and loses
10 - Have all of this in the same year!!!!!
It just happens. And it just sucks
I'm telling you he has seasonal mono. He will be well after the season is over.
he aint ready for the NBA
he looks like an average college basketball player
He didn't look very average last season.
very true. guess it helped having two NBA players on his team
at this point it doesn't matter, so hopefully he can stay healthy next season
I hope he comes back next year and I think we will be a better team with him around

I Survived Drunkytown with OleVet and all I got was this rash!
With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

At this point, I think he's out to set himself up for coming back next season. He's been free-falling down NBA draft boards; except, oddly enough, for ESPN's, and I think that even Chad Ford's ridiculous-upside-havin'-*ss is finally starting to come around too.
I'd like for him to be here another year as long as it's his freshman year and not his sophomore one.

As is pretty much always the case, I agree with Skull. -- A Sooner in Texas, 11/09
I think I'd rather suck than have a player I despise watching play on the team. But that's probably not a popular opinion.

OK, upon further review, season-ending surgery.
