I am not sure we have a Wishbone fullback. I think the closest fullback we have that could be a bone fullback would be Chris Brown.

As far as Wishbone QBs go. Thats a tough one. Broyles maybe? I am not sure how durable he is. Charles Thompson like as far as build goes.

Bumping an old post. Georgia Tech is my 2nd favorite team. Can't believe they finished in the top 15 this year. When was the last time a true triple option team finished in the top 10? Was it OU?

Does Air Force still run the option? I'm not sure of their final ranking but they had a heck of a year

This. They ran the option and power running.

I didn't realize Airforce made it to 10th in the coaches poll in 1998. That is extremely high for a service academy.

Nebraska ran a lot of their plays out of the I formation which gave the quarterback the option of keeping it himself, pitching it to the running back, or giving it to the fullback.

I would consider that a triple option

This part is the reason for my first post. Some years back, I went to a Husker caravan w/ my uncle (a 60+ year NU fan), & Osborne was the keynote speaker. They had a Q & A afterwards, & a guy asked him why TO preferred the triple option offense over other philosophies. He was quite quick to correct the questioner in pointing out that any time the fullback got the ball in their offense, it was a pre-determined call, not part of an option, although it can look similar to the casual eye.
