Yeah it really is fun to watch.
It's gorgeous. I watch those guys every time they're one.
Nesbitt needs to work on his pitching a bit. Some of those ducks have absolutely no chance.
Yup, triple option football is some cool stuff.

It's great when it's working ... a good way to do "more with less" (like GT, the service academies, etc) in the current CFB environment. Although VT was shutting it down in the 1st half, for the 2nd half Johnson made some adjustments to the blocking schemes (imagine that), and GT literally "ran away with it".
"OK ... l know. This is where you tell me all about how locals rule ... and yuppie insects like me shouldn't be surfing your break, right?"
Did you see it against Miami? When a good defense is prepared for it, it looks HORRIBLE. I like Heisman QBs myself, with lots and lots of passing yards and TDs.
A good spread passing attack is considerably tougher to slow down.
I miss the Leech/ Mangino offenses. It's my favorite offense.

Yep, the option is high-risk, high return and fun to watch. I made a point to call my wife to the TV to watch the Georgia Tech highlights. I don't think she has ever seen the option before.
its nice to see a team have a 3rd and short and be able to run for a first down

That stands to reason for just about any offense. OU has looked pretty horrible on offense at times as well. I would rather be in Georgia Tech's shoes right now.Did you see it against Miami? When a good defense is prepared for it, it looks HORRIBLE.
Besides, Georgia Tech scored more points against Miami than we did against UT.
It's the best red zone offense in existence, which is why I think Barry won so many close games.

Bobs Point totals in NC games
2000 - 13 Points

2008 - 14 Points
Any offense can be shut down, especially in big games.

What about a spread-bone where there is one QB to option and one to pass with receivers spread around and moving in all directions? Center snaps to one of the QBs who then try to figure out what is going on, while the defense does the same. Or, is this kinda like the Houston offense?
Oh well, the refs would just call holding on us anyway...

I will always love triple option, and Mike Gaddis is one of my favorite backs, he would have been one of the best ever if he hadn't blown out both knees
Just for kicks, but if we were to run the bone in the red zone, who would quarterback?
