Meh, we're going to get screwed with our draw, so I guess I'll have to find another team to cheer for after we go out in the group stage with 1 point at most. I'd like to see Nederland win it all.

Switch South Africa for England and it would have been the best draw we could have gotten, so no complaints. We need to get to the 2nd round this time.

England, Algeria and Slovenia is not a bad draw in the least bit. Pull a draw against England and the group is winnable.
Good thing we didn't land in groups D (Germany, Serbia and Ghana) or G (Brazil, Ivory Coast and Portugal.) (Note - left out the Aussies from D and DPRK in G as we would have replaced those two in the respective groups.)

This sets up well for a potential Quarterfinal run for the U.S. We were better than Germany in 2002 but lost, and I think we could beat them this time if we faced them in the 2nd round.

Yea, that group actually looks pretty easy for Mexico. I was sad to see them draw South Africa as their seed.
Then again, I probably underestimate Uruguay and France.
