Put a lid on it! Kiss it goodbye. We gave it away, and apparently thought it made sense to do so.
OK I'll go First. I thought it was cool the way they did the wedding-on-the-boat thing to have an experience they actually wanted, and to take the pressure off of having to deal with their lunatic friends and family.

I really enjoyed that, too. They were able to come back to the "real" wedding and enjoy the insanity. It was a terrific episode.
I thought it was really cool how someone else started a thread about this episode a good couple of hours before this one.
"The choices we discern as having been made in the Constitutional Convention impose burdens on governmental proceses that often seem clumsy, inefficient, even unworkable, but those hard choices were consciously made by men who had lived under a form of government that permitted arbitrary governmental acts to go unchecked." INS v. Chadha, 462 U.S. 919 (1983) (Burger, C.J.)
this wedding was done in a way that it didnt interupt the flow and it wasnt the big finale, the show will be fine.
That last scene was so funny I was literally in tears, I love that they mocked the youtube wedding

With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

This episode has been inevitable since the original British series. Had Ricky Gervais not finished it they way he did, Dawn and Tim would have had a wedding episode. I'm just amazed they stretched it as long as they did. No jumping the shark at all. Still the best sitcom on TV.
once they got away from will they or wont they get together, the wedding was a foregone conclusion but the show didnt hang on that happening
