    It's a good read and I hope serves notice to future baseball young stars... the money pit is not limitless in pro sports, or even in college. Professional baseball is not the same as pro football or basketball, nor is college baseball the same is college football or basketball.

    Pro baseball players do not eight to nine figures right away and never go straight to the MLB teams without a few years of AA or AAA ball. College baseball players rarely earn full scholarships and don't get the same "perks" known in college recruiting for other top sports (like if you're at USC or the SEC, for example).
