Ameer Ali says it was just a "misunderstanding". How is that when you toss somebody over your back. When that happened it took me back to Thabeet getting tossed over Blair's back.
Here's something I didn't notice during the game last night - the ref actually grabbed the player before tossing him from the game.
What I did notice from replays was Taylor making a beeline for Ali when it happened. If that player didn't get ejected by the refs, I'm sure Taylor would have ejected Ali for them.

Sam Bradford would be proud of Blake!

With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

If Capel ever gets his face plastered all over this site like or or or or I nominate this as the source, taken during last night's game vs. Morgan:
Also, I vaguely remember this happening, but don't remember the ball getting punted, like the pic implies:
looks like a roughing the punter call to me? Damn Blake cost us 15 yards.

What the flipping pic doesn't show was the fact that Ali had his arms locked around Blake's arm in order to maintain a hold on it while he used it to throw Blake. Saying it was an accident is ridiculous. You don't accidentally grab someone's arm and flip them over your back. If he'd have uncrossed his arms, there's nothing else that would have happened. He didn't.

I just found that pic and thought we'll never see another photo like it ever again - two sets of shorts seemingly coming out of each other in opposite directions. There are, in fact, no wire photos of the incident as it was happening other than the shorts one. There are, however, tons of youtube vidyas.
I don't care if it's the wrong tournament!
Blake never even looked back at him and just walked off.
he's a badass
Yeah, that was about the most badass thing I saw all day. UCONN and UNC can have their 50 point victories. I watched the best player in 20 years take a judo throw and walk away like it was nothing.
Blake Griffin is all that is man.

The thing is, why would you hope that BG retaliates,im pretty sure he would seriously hurt someone if he ever got mad enough to retaliate

Blake would have taken that guy out in one punch. I am glad Blake didn't retaliate though because we are going to need him tomorrow. I think if Meatchicken collapses on him our guards are going to have a field day. I think we have a great shot tomorrow.
