With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

That all-defensive team would only be intimidating if they could have all 6 players on the court at once.

Here is the complete list of AP awards.

As you can see, Willie was unanimous for the All-Rookie team and Freshman of the Year, Blake was unanimous First Team.

There were apparently several ties in voting, none of which appeared to affect OU at all.

The PoY award for Blake appeared to have been disputed by a few votes... hmm... KU's Sherron Collins, perhaps? I think BG needs to beat those few votes outta Collins for the Big 12 title

Yeah, I heard that carp about how Blake shouldn't win the Conference POY by J-Will on ESPN, but he should win the National POY. He was pretty much told he was an idiot by others on the show. The logic defies me- if Blake is in the line up, we beat KU and UTerus- but you recommend Collins, who is a good player in his own right, for Conference POY? Makes no sense. It goes along with the idea that if Blake was in the line up, we would be only a 2-loss team and the, likely, #1 team in the country, an a lock as a #1 seed. Those same people now say that we are at jeopardy for a #1. The inconsistency is astounding.
