...at the number of people who say they were not asked for ID in order to VOTE.
WTF is that all about???
It's illegal?
Well, crap.
Or is it?
Well, crap.
Here's the breakdown of where it is required: Linky
Well, crap.
I suppose if they record your vote, then in a perfect system, YOU would not be allowed to vote again, regardless of whether it was really you or not.
Still, seems some shenanigans could take place if a partial group took the time to figure out who was in the hospital...out of the country...not gonna vote, etc.
I showed mine today. First time ever and I vote every election.
I've never been asked.
I'm not happy until you're not happy.
I showed my ID today. I think the SCOTUS said it was legal about 6 months ago, too.

I have a wierd last name, so I always have my DL out because it saves me having to spell it nine times for the hard-of-hearing precinct workers. I've never been asked for it, as it's not generally required in Oklahoma.
There was a bit of a hiccup this morning at Mayflower Congo Church in OKC. One poll worker was asking for it, not as a requirement, just to speed the line along. Some guy in line got p**sed and when and made a federal case out of it, even though they allowed him to vote with showing ID. Some people need to chill the f*** out.
They were checking IDs at our polling place. It's remarkable that every place doesn't require a valid ID and that ID must prove you are a US citizen and eligible to vote. IOW, if you are an illegal and have a driver's license, that should not get you a vote. The DL should be special indicating that you are not a citizen.
we had to show ID, and if you didn't have a DL or State ID, they took passports, military id's and another form of id that eludes me right now.
