Evidently Barack did not think the National anthem and the pledge were important enough.

Although they scheduled them and got a local person ready to perform the program, they scrapped it at the last minute to allow for another speaker.

You do realize that Barack Obama is not personally setting the schedule for these events? I guarantee you, the desicion regarding the schedule change was made by whoever is in charge of the local campaign office.

Same goes for McCain's campaign. That's why these people hire campaign workers - so they don't have to do all that crap themselves.

As for why the media is ignoring the lawsuits, I've read the pleadings, and they're a joke. They will be dismissed. There were a couple of lawsuits filed when Bush got elected in 2000, challenging his candidacy with the claim that Bush and Cheney were both Texas residents. These lawsuits were a joke, also, and the media mostly ignored them as well.

I really don't know other than one of the lawsuits has been filed in penn. Pennsylvania's former deputy attorney general and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter Philip J. Berg has filed a lawsuit in federal court. I don't know why he would do this if he didn't htink he had a reason. evidently the court does not have the document that you presented here. Just saying and I don't know enough about the issue to say. One way or the other.

No but they had reserved a performer to do it and especially now after all the other coverage it would seem that they would be a bit sensitive to the issue. doesn't matter to me either way. I say everything about him is based on Marxism/socialism
