I know that a lot of people can not afford to give up what they have, but for those that can spare, this is a great cause. The NBA is supporting a charitable organization that is providing mosquito nets for children in Africa who can't afford them. It is reported that 3,000 people are dying from malaria every day in Africa and there is a movement to help stem this epidemic. I myself am a poor college student, and I live off of financial aid and loans. But I still contributed the minimum $10 to provide a net to surround the bed of a child in Africa. I truly believe in helping those less fortunate than me, and I hope you do as well. If you are interesting in helping, here is the website.
