Despite playing like crispy crap for most of the game, the Rangers have found themselves up 1-0 early in the second. This series is going to be a war.

I think that series and the Calgary-San Jose series, and the Stars-Ducks have the best potential of going the full 7.
BTW, I'd like to thank Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket for providing me some sweet Platinum Level seats to Game 3 of the Ducks-Stars series.

1-1 now. The Rangers had a few minutes of excellence, but a ****-poor PK changed all of that.
I think all of the East series are roughly 6-5 and pick 'em. I can honestly make an argument for and against every team in that bracket. I agree on Stars-Ducks, but I think SJ should handle Calgary.
Nice stretch in the mid-3d by the good guys to get a big win. Pretty even game, all told, but the Rangers got the breaks when Jersey didn't.
Since my team didn't make the playoffs (for the 3rd effing year in a row ) I'm jumping on the Stars bandwagon.
To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high
My condolences.
But welcome aboard the Stars bandwagon.

the avatar thing really didn't work out well for you last year, you sure you want to do this to yourself again?

Should be a good playoff year for the NHL.

Well, I think I say one thing's for certain in this series.
If it becomes a special teams battle, give me the Stars in 5 or even a sweep. Though it's hard to imagine the Ducks playing any dumber than they did last night.

Well, they don't need my avatar to start sucking balls.
4-0 Ducks with 13:00 remaining in 2nd.
Prediction? 6-1 Ducks.
Ugh.

I'll take the blame for last night's loss.
The last 9 times I've attended a Rangers or Stars game, this is the record for each team:
Rangers: 0-7
Stars: 0-2
Not to mention, I've been to three Stars playoff games in my life after last night.
They've lost every one of them.
Fortunately, I have no plans to attend any more Stars games.

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?!???

Unfortunately for me (or maybe not), the team I'm following these days is waiting for the arrival of Stamkos. While Stamkos is solid, I'd rather have next year's #1 pick.
The Oklahoma City Blazers of the 1990's could not have done a worse job with their accounting if they had kept their ledgers on Big Chief tablets...
Rags push the Devils to the brink of elimination, Detroit's going through their annual first round fight after Nashville won, and the Pens are moving onto the second round after dispatching the Sens in a sweep.

Now that's a better game Marty.
3-1 Stars. Score and series.
