    Concrete Floor Staining (again)

This has been discussed before, BUT there are new and improved products on the market. So, with that being said, has anyone recently stained indoor concrete flooring? I want to (ok fine, the wife wants me to) rip the carpet outta the living room and stain the concrete. I have been told that acid staining is a pain in the arse and now there is a "Smith Stain" that is water based and is a much easier project than acid staining. Any and all help is appreciated.

i used acid stain on my restaurant floor. it is a pain in the arse but very cheap. i think we stained 1400 sq. feet for $100. if there are other products that can give you the same quality, look into them. if you need info. on all the acid stain materials and steps to do it, peem me.
