Owasso was rated high because of the baseball team always being nationally ranked. But, as far be the best athletic school in the state, Jenks wins this one hands down.
Here I sit just a flexin, giving birth to another UT grad.
Oh yeah? Well Westmoore's the best Moore!
Jenks is the best football school, and they are always nationally ranked... So really I dont know how Owasso pulled it out over them.Originally Posted by SOONER STEAKER

Yeah, go figure that South Anchorage-a brand-spanking new school located in the best part of town that has open freaking enrollment (so ANY kid who lives in Anchorage can go there)-has the best sports of any school in the state.
They opened that place four years ago. They estimated that initial enrollment was like 60% kids that normally wouldn't be in their zone. The place is a palace, though.

This may possibly be the school district a friend of mine who lives in Anchorage now was talking about. She and her husband mentioned wanting to stay in Alaska (when I asked her why the hell anyone would do that) because of the "great school district." I couldn't imagine how good a school district in a frozen tundra could be but evidently one hell of one.Originally Posted by Mike Rich

Heh, that place is AMAZING. It's a private boarding school, and I may be mistaken but it seems like their tuition is more than ours every semester.Originally Posted by usmc-sooner
I'd have KILLED to go there when I was in high school. Nothing would have pleased me more than to be sent away to a stuffy and expensive boarding school.
Well, I don't know how great ASD really is, but it's not a bad district.
