Every time my wife wants to get one of these massive hard drives, I envision the day when the damned thing fails.
I hope I die before that day.
I have over 1TB of storage in the house right now, I still need to get to burning some backups of files on DVD-R. The next thing is to build a HTPC with 2-750GB drives in a RAID-1 configuration. Also thinking about a Bluray drive for it.

It's amazing how cheap hard drives have become these days . . .
some are cheap, I unfortunately had to pay $1/gig but it's worth it
