Weight and injury issues? Hard to make much of that statement without the details, hopefully that's all a part of the past. Is this guy more a defensive post/rebounder or an all around project?

He's a project.
His weight issues mostly stem from his injuries. He tore a ligament in his thumb and tore his MCL, then gained the weight during the down time. He's down to 275 and hopes to get down to 265 by the start of the season.

Everyone's still saying he's a lock to Kansas.
I guess his mom likes someone on the OU staff, or something of that nature.
Would be a big shock if he didn't end up in Lawrence.
Willie is visiting us this weekend, BTW.
His recruitment is still pretty wide open, but he and his mother seem to like us quite a bit.
Thanks again for the info Rhino. I was hearing pretty much what OSUAggie was saying. I assume he'll be at the FB game. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out, we could use a scorer of his ability.
