Gin is nasty.......I am more of a rum, vodka or whiskey guy. I prefer Meyer's Dark, all Bacardi has an aftertaste to me. Rum is island drinks, Meyers & OJ for me.
Rum goes well with a lot of things, including egg nog. I can drink it straight from the bottle, or with orange juice, with Dr Pepper, pineapple juice, etc.

Rum is great. Sometimes you want something with a vanilla finish (like rum) instead of a liquid celery finish (like gin).

Wow! I purchased some of the Cane 10 stuff for the Tulsa game and hated it. If you make it to the next tailgate you can have a brand new bottle that has only a couple of ounces missing. Otherwise it will sit in my bar area collecting dust.
Try the Bacardi 8 year old stuff, it's great for mixed drinks and sipping on its own.
