a day for the record books

twas a great day in the lore of fadada1. a day that OU4LIFE can appreciate.

up at 6:20 for a golf tourney at country club of rochester - a wonderful donald ross design. played ok. 78. coulda/shoulda/woulda been about 72 - the putter let me down some. near miss on my first hole-in-one. 210 yards, perfectly hit 5-iron, stops (and i **** you not) 1 1/2" from the stinkin' hole. closest i've ever come.

come home, have me a PB&J, chop up some dying flowers in the yard, and head over to another donald ross course for the afternoon 18 - irondequoit CC. play better - 75 with a couple slips - putter cooperated much better.

83 degrees and sunny today. NO WIND. perfect day for golf.

come back home to the lady cooking BBQ chicken in preparation for the SOONERS on TV. great meal!!!!

watch a slow start to the game, but pour it on for the second half clobbering. have a small visit to DRUNKEYTOWN. didn't stay for the night - just the right amount of labatts blue.

got me some halftime seccs from the future bride. had a couple more pops, and now i'm visiting you fine people.

here's to a great day and may you all have similar experiences.

    CHEERS!!!!

    BOOMER SOONER!!!!
I don’t know if the block on that last one was due to low trajectory or if the guys up front didn’t hold their ground well enough. I’m not convinced it matters. We have every reason to believe the ball could have gone through the uprights and the refs would have signaled first down Oregon. - D.E.
