I'm not talking about just great albums, I'm talking about albums where every song is solid, none you have to skip.
I can only think of one right now:

I don't like Jeremy. next.
be serious, sas.
and before anyone thinks about it, I'll tell you that no Beatles albums will make this short list. Yes they have some of the greatest albums ever, but they also always includeds some crap (bang bang, Maxwell's silver hammer came down upon her head.....)

And I 2nd the Pearl Jam choice.
I was going to disagree because I thought that there might have been some weaker songs at the end of the album, but after going back through the tracks on Nevermind, I think we have entry #2 (or 3) on the list.Quote:

I recently came up against a wall. While sorting my albums of music in the MP3 format, I came to the conclusion that for most, if not all, of the albums I own, there are only a handful of tracks per album that I love. Generally there are a few tracks that are passable and almost always several that are forgettable. This makes listening to an entire album or even mixes of albums set to random less enjoyable than if it was just the best songs per album. So I began purging tracks, saving only the best of each album.
Then I ran into a phenomenon, the phenomenon of the perfect album. An album in which every track is great, each one worthy of being a hit. An album with not a single song I would skip past and nothing mediocre or even average.
I'm only part way through my music library and I've only found a handful. But it piqued my curiosity. What albums would you nominate as a perfect album?
Screw anyone that disagrees.

this may not be popular, but in the "perfect album", it FLOWS perfectly, and this double album did for me.

In my opinion the best ever recorded.

I can't listen to the Smashing Pumpkins because I think Billy Corgan is the worst f***ing singer I've ever heard.Quote:

If memory serves, Wills passed away toward the end of the session. And what a memory this album gives us all.

If this don't make the short list, the list is very short sighted.
SNOOP DOGGY DOGG- "DOGGY STYLE." That's a classic Hip-Hop cd for u. nice all the way through.
Rumors - Fleetwood Mac
and I second Dark Side of the Moon.
I'm having an internal debate regarding 'Licensed to ill' and 'Blood Sugar Sex Magic'.
And I'm also on the PJ, Nirvana, PF side.
I would also add The Final Cut by Pink Floyd.
Bow down to the Soundgarden greatness.
