You're the head coach of OU and you can have your choice of any current or past player to take a 3 pointer for you... Who do you choose? Suggestions... - Dave Sieger - Mookie Blaylock - Tim McAllister - Brent Price - Hollis Price Anyone else? I'd choose Seiger to make a 3. The guy was an amazing shooter. He couldnt move at all but if got a look, it was going down. - TRU
Calvin Curry. 'Cause you know that no matter what, he'd get the shot off. It may not go in, but he wouldn't wait for it to be open-or even across half court.
Yes, I am convinced that if Calvin Curry could see the basket, it was within his range. For me, Terry Evans. From your list, Price, either one. They are the only two from your list that actually won games with a three, if I remember correctly.
Hollis Price was just clutch. There are better 3 point shooters on that list but Price was Mr. Clutch.
McCallister never made a big shot to win a game. he missed a lot of them though. i got drunk with him a couple times at the Deli in the late 90's. decent enough guy. Hollis. David Little is a good choice, but there wasn't a 3 point line then. my Dad tells a great story about being at Gallagher Hall the year Little hits that last second in the key jumper to beat the pokes......and trying to get out of the gym as fast as possible.
Terry Evans...if the game were against Kansas. David Little...if the game were against the pukes. Stacey King...if it was a 75 footer.
