is on his way to the Vikings, per ESPiN. I'm seeing lots of "former Sooner" and "Big Red Sports" in his future.
I actually wish him well. He was dumb and made a mistake. OU is fine and hopefully one Brent Rhombar will be fine too.
He can't be worse than Tarvaris Jackson. I mean holy ****ing ****, how is Tarvaris Jackson an NFL quarterback?
I would be very happy for Romar to succeed. His attitude was exceptional throughout the situation and since. He knew he laid a big egg.
He played for Alabama State, probably not hard to stand out. Childress was a bafoon and drafted him in the second or third round and he was at best a last round pick
If he does well....it shows two things. We were right to let him go and he's a survivor who was able to overcome the situation he put himself in. Both were good things.
i'm sure the vikes will have a team of men at the ready to "rough up" mr. bromar if he gets within 100 yds of brhett during workouts (mangino's next gig perhaps?). that er the vikes could pay mr. bromar AND [hairGel] a pantload of cashe, with the condition that :stunned: . hire mr. bromar as a recruiting specialist. that'd be sweet.
Bomar is the better QB for sure but will need time to learn the system. Jackson is just plain bad. A great college QB who couldn't make the transition and unfortunately for him, has unbelievable pressure to success playing in the shadows of Favre.
Agreed. Jackson can make a roster all along, but Graham Harrell gets signed yesterday to a practice squad? I'd like to compare their college numbers.
Good luck to him. If his failure would actually help OU, I might bash him. But it won't, so I won't. The guy knows he screwed up big time; I hope he gets redemption big time.
Really? Because I recall his saying he was the fall guy and there were things going on here that he couldn't talk about. Sounded like crybaby bull**** to me.
