I wouldn't put too much stock into that They don't even have Lynn listed as committing to us yet I'm just saying I have come to understand that there is at least a speck of truth to every rumor out there.
True. I was assuming you were arguing that he's still committed to mizzou and that if there was any truth to it, rivals would have something about it. We all know what happens when we assume...
I understand he is likely to go elsewhere in that to my knowledge we never really have been in on him, but IMHO your logic doesn't wash. I think most of these 5 star recruits want to compete and want to be on teams with other 5 stars, with the caveat that they may also look for early PT. Which would probably be the biggest reason he wouldn't come to us with a veteran rotation of McCoy, Granger, and Taylor in front of him. And even that doesn't always wash with kids desiring to be part of elite programs. Look at it this way... We signed arguably the top two backs in Texas last year, not to mention the WR class we signed until Jarboe turned out to be a knucklehead. (BTW, did you see he was recently arrested again? Glad he's not our mess.) Edit: Or maybe I took your post wrong and you meant that we were only looking to sign one DT???
