Yeah but pro football? I love me some college football, but the pro version? Not so much. I do recognize that in a statewide vote I'd probably lose though.
I voted for MLB, and I agree, an NL team would be preferable, considering that OKC is right between Rangers and Royals territory. I would also put the team in the NL Central and move the Pirates to the NL East.
I'd love to see MLB in OKC but I don't think that OKC would do a good job of filling the stadium up. The NFL would be pretty cool IMO.
I said Years ago I wanted to Be rich enouh to Start ban NFL Franchise here In OKla. Just draft OU players to play , Nevar got that rich But Dayum I got close befor the Bust in 83 :hot: op:
One thing would be required to make the MLB a success here. That is a salary cap. Without, we'd never have the money to be competitive. A football team on the other hand would work here. We've got enough fans.
I don't know, you're talking about adding at least 17,000 seats. I don't think the footprint could support that.
Go up. You could drop the parking garage or incorperate it as a structure. There is potential. The real hang up is, noboday cares about MLB, nationally. MLB and NHL are becoming nitch sports. NFL and NBA are the only ML sports that OKC could support. IMHO
