    6-3 250? WTF?
Dude must have something else going for him.
Either that or he needs to start stopping by Burger King more often.

I'm surprised OU doesn't go after Samoans more. They're very tough. Solid.

Rivals page didn't reveal much more about him or his recruiting than the Scout did, except it listed him at 275 lbs., instead of 250

Nila Kasitati agrees. I love those guys, they are usually workhorses.

This kid was waaaay under the radar, and was actually found by Coach Norvell. He'll need to bulk up, but it's always good to add some depth to positions that are lacking.

Samoans are heavily recruited by Pac 10/ West Coast Schools.

There's more of a Polynesian community on the West Coast and their families can see them play.

I hope the kid can contribute.

The kid will contribute. And he will be a stud.

To bad they didnt have him at DT or DE...the guy is freakishly athletic.

Tulsa World had him at 290. I'm more comfortable with that.

larger polynesian communities in Cali/Oregon/Utah. Add to that, the fact that a high number of polynesians are mormon. And you have your answer as to why they tend to stick out west.

Serious sports culture. I found a lot of love for OU football in Hawaii. I think 5-0 should open a branch recruiting office. He could sail the South Seas looking for young men of height and girth with anger management issues and signing them up. It's a plan.

we recruited a samoan LB several years ago named Katoa. from Utah. he eventually signed with Colorado. 4 star guy. he got kicked off the team. he chose Dan Hawkins over us....in his final two.

hit some student with a big rock in the head or something. frat guy maybe talking some $hit at a party....katoa banged him with a rock. might have been reinstated...once...don't remember. no interpretation here about recruiting samoans.....bill mccartney had some success with it at Colorado...and polynesian players.....just the facts, ma'am, about katoa.

i saw him on campus some....looked like a real player.

The Samoans are to football what the Dominicans are to baseball. Disproportionately large number of good players for the size of population. They live and breath football from a very early age. OU has just never made inroads there.

    About his weight...

Soonerscoop did an interview with him. And Feo said he just finished a 55 day fasting where he didnt eat meat or fish. So he dropped some weight. He told them in an interview that he was at 285 pounds. And by the time he reports in June, He should be up to 295-300.

Samoans know how to put on the weight and how to take it off. He will be just fine.

The 250 pounds you see listed on his profiles stemmed from his high school days.

Yeah, Nila was about 280 when we recruited him, now he is around 310. I bet Feo is about 300 when camp starts.
