It's been a few years since I have been to an OU-Texas game. In the last few years what are scalpers getting for tickets? I'm going this year and was wondering whether or not I should buy tickets from an online broker or buy outside the fairgrounds.
Even @ $300-$350 a ticket? I have had a couple of people tell me that you can get tickets @ the game for $150-$200 a pop. It sounds like that’s not the case.
You can get them for less than 350..Depends on how long you want to hold out..If your going down regardless of tickets or not, i would look around the fairgrounds..
i've gotten them on eBay for ~$200 i've never really seen them for good prices at the fair, but i always have tickets before i get there how much do the "brokers" want?
At BigRedTickets.com the cheapest tickets on the OU side is $325.00 and the cheapest on the Texas side is $295.00.
http://www.ebay.com/ eBay Item 120161729765. Sec 33 Row 43. These are two of the 38,130 best seats op: for the RRS. Auction ends Thursday night.
Two tickets and Buy it now for $1,000.00? Give me some of what you're smokin. I can get tickets in the same section from a broker for $350.00 each. No thanks.
OK, but check back Thursday night. You may be able to get them for about $250 each. I'd much rather sell them to you than to the current high bidder, which has the name of a very bad town in their username. :O
I'd give $300 for a pair but that's as far as I'd go unless it wasn't on TV. I wouldn't set in the UT section at any price.
I hear this every year before the game, or for tickets going for around face value. Maybe on off years (teams suck), but for the big games this idea is a myth....
i've never tried, as i'm generally in my seat half an hour before then but i'd imagine it's like any other game and people would rather lose money than get no money for a ticket
Last year, Scalpers were getting picked off outside the fairgrounds trying to sell tickets way above face value. It was priceless to see their faces when they got caught..
