With the starting pitching the Sooners
have they should be able to win a 2 out
3 format against the Tigers.

 

Not quite that simple, LSU is the real deal. Having said that, Gray and Overton give us a great shot

 

I should have said OU's starting pitching
gives the Sooners a good shot of matching
up with the Tigers. Sunny has done a good
job of squeezing more production out of the
batting lineup.

 

Best thing is that it is only 3 games at most, because of this he can use our staff to the max

Here's the rub Sir Steve. IMO, other than calling a squeeze where he might have been a goat, Sunny really hasn't done anything different.

OTOH, our players have managed to execute better on defense, and come through with some timely hitting. They've even managed to win with some of the most horrendous 3rd base coaching I've ever seen yesterday.

Sunny has always been good. The players are finally executing. I ain't gonna give Sunny credit for that - just like I don't blame him when they strike out or boot grounders.

 

It was nice to see other teams making errors. Helps to remind me these guys are college students not pro athletes. Hell even pros make errors. The uncertainty is what makes college baseball so much fun to watch.
