Would you ****ig people stop bringing up the 90's when this team has yet another terrible game?

We are aware that it isn't the 90's.. No one is suggesting that we rehire John Blake, doesn't meant we arn't pathetically underperforming as a team.

Honestly the kids didn't play a bad or crappy game.

Give ND some credit. Their defense did really well. They took our run game away.

The problem that killed us was our defensive play calling.

The defense was playing lights out in the first half except for one play.

Then in the second half they played off the ball and allowed the ND WRs to catch the ball without contesting anything.

No well timed blitzes. We played man to man all night and never tried to mix in a zone to confuse the young QB.

Notre Dame wanted to win. So they did!

And as our little sisters to the north would say...there is always next year...especially when ND loses most of their defense.

they really need to get rid of this politically correct "co-offensive" coordinators... make one guy call the shots, instead of having conflicting calls coming in from the sidelines screwing up the hurry-up offense, confusing players like landry, etc.

What did he do? Watch the replay. It was like the DB weighed 80 pounds or something.

Don't know if that will help us any...they tend to over call for the other team in these games to make it look like they are calling it fair.

Very good points. QB is the most important position in all of sports. I do think that ultimately the coaches bear responsibility in either coaching him out of those problems or putting someone else in there.

Players have come and gone, Head coach is the only thing that really hasn't changed over the years. Stoops bears responsibility.
I'm glad to have him, though, he's a pretty good coach and a good man.

Herbie said he threw Russell down, but that is obviously NOT what happened. Kenny did lack some needed poise, however.

Not only that, but Bell is not the guaranteed starter next season.

I think there will be a very big QB batlle. And I would also think our offensive scheme will change.

One thing is certain though....drew allen is likely not going to start.

I'm ready, as I said for quite awhile but left it alone, for a new MO on offense.
