Yes, it quite certainly did, and not only that, but it showed up first, before the preseason poll.

Oh, and while Mookie deserves first mention...

...this guy for all he did for Oklahoma recently deserves some kudos too:

 

Hollis was great, but Daron "Mookie" Blaylock was incredible.

Guys would try to take another dribble before they realized the ball was gone and heading the other way at warp speed.

It's not that I'm not giving credit to our legends, but I'm trying to keep the current team in the mix of the countdown too, hence the references to the preseason rankings. It might be fun to get a few wimmen's bball pics in too

But yeah, Hollis was a little legend in his own right too. That team in 2002 just got a really bad luck draw when they ended up next to Syracuse when they played them in the Elite Eight. That team could have taken the nets down
