I'm not real familiar with this year's team, but I don't think Herren is the guy we would have in there if the game were on the line.

I know. We tried to use them both, but what I'm trying to say is something more along the lines of that we pulled them early and still have them. I guess I didn't word it that well.

 

10 Ks for Garrett Richards. Their pitching has struck 9.

It appears I missed most of a great game by Richards. He pitched a whole game! Finally got some good starting pitching.

It looks like we'll be seeing TJ Forrest and Drew Smyly from Arkansas. Both look beatable. Forrest is 2-6 with a 5.73 ERA, and Smyly is 2-1 with a 5.60 ERA. I'm just guessing, though. Their stats show four pitchers starting more than two games and they used two of them up already.

I was hoping for a shutout...32-2 now in the bottom of the 6th. We are 3 runs short of the record for most runs in a D1 tourney game. I did not expect this from my Noles today - but I'll take it.

Man, I missed the t. I was thinking Oklahoma State and got excited. Oklahoma State is however already down 7-0 in the top of the 3rd.

 

Hubbard bounces back and strikes out the side in the top of the 2nd!
