Read on another site that Merv lost his wife Cindy last night....I guess she had been ill and was taken off life support. The thread also stated he would work today's game. RIP, Cindy Johnson.
When I lost my wonderful wife of 31 years to sudden illness, I couldn't even function for 2 weeks. I empathize with Merv, the saddest part of life is losing the ones we love...
....how lonely he must be....family and friends aside, nobody completes you like your other self. He will be in my prayers for peace ss
Somebody help this old dumbarse out. What does Merv do, is he one of the broadcasters? I know, I'm stupid, but humor me!
They aint Ded, they just LOST along the way LOL. Hell been 14 years and Im still celibratin that last one being gone.
And former assistant HC under Barry Switzer. I've met Merv a couple of times, and I'm a really big fan. Great football mind and a super ambassador for OU football.
