Going to the NU/OU game tonight

I'll post my observations after the game at some point.

 

NU-1
OU-0 thru 4


OU leaves the bases juiced.

 

So now we have scored 2 runs in 31 innings.

 

2-2 in the 7th inning stretch now.

 

3-2 OU thru mid 8th.




and OSU is up 5-2 over Tech thru 8th

 

Did we win?

As hard as it is to believe Nebraska is playing worse then we are right now.

 

My observations
1) Good God, it was beautiful baseball weather
2) My ice cream cone was excellent
3) When you allow as many hits and walks as NU did, it's hard to win a tight game.
4) NU had their chances and couldn't take advantage, and OU wore Chamberlin down to the point by getting hits in walks to get the upper hand, and got a well deserved win.
5) NU's season has really went south recently, and I hoping it's due to general inexperience and these lessons will pay off in the future.
