Adrian is a credit to the Sooners still --- he was very gracious in defeat, didn't pout like Vince Young losing the Heisman or even act sad. He was clearly happy for Barry (probably because he knows he's a shoo-in for the cover once he gets the rushing record).

Besides... Barry is a Lion and a Poke. If they can't win a video game cover contest, what can they win? Hardly anything :stunned:

I'm a big Sanders fan but he didn't have a star on his team to compete with for the Heisman like AD did. Oh wait, he DID, and he didn't do **** in Stillwater until Thurman left.

 

Thurman was all-american & all pro. sanders played a lot when he was injured. also ran back kicks.
barry had best year of any college rb, bar none. over 2800 yds in 12 games.
