They could go to to toe with Led Zeppelin or the Ramones and they blow the doors off of 90% of the stuff that came out in the seventies. Not the P-Funk or Atomic Dog stuff, I am talking about the first three or four albums. Damn, they are so good they made me see spots before my eves. I bet if Jimi Hendrix had lived, he would have sounded a lot like them and they would have gotten a lot more respect. I'm sure their crude lyrics and crazy spaceships and stuff didn't help though.
Yeah, I was out of the loop for a while; I was in Mississippi for a stretch, but I have upgraded and now I am in Afghanistan. It sucks too, but they do put some OU games on tv - we have to get up at 3am to watch, but hey, we are lucky to have electricity over here. Good to be back, btw...
