Dallas Skyline linebacker Anthony Wheeler committed to Texas over Baylor, OU and LSU on Friday at the Under Armour All-America game.

Wheeler, who hails from the same high school which produced Corey Nelson and Frank Shannon, was considered an OU lean, but the 6-foot-2, 225-pound four-star standout will be headed to Austin to play for Charlie Strong.

Wonder how much the Abomination Bowl had to do with that.

Hard to imagine it had much. ut had their own abomination bowl immediately after. I heard something about Kish canceling an in-home visit, which can't be good if true.

Keeping with the "I heard" line, apparently his parents were big UT fans. Perhaps they were leaning on him to go that route?
